Appzone has evolved into a payment infrastructure company
Zone is a regulated blockchain network that enables payments and issuance of digital currencies. Our Layer-1 Blockchain network is digitizing Fiat payments and enabling the transition to digital currencies while connecting previously excluded financial institutions into an all inclusive payment ecosystem.
Our flagship product
In November of 2022, Appzone evolved to become Zone; Africa’s first layer-1 Blockchain network and decentralized infrastructure for payment in Fiat money and digital currencies.
Zone allows participating institutions connect directly with each other and perform payment transactions without an intermediary while completely automating settlement, reconciliation and dispute management.
The absence of an intermediary or middleman in Zone’s architecture saves participating institutions money, enhances reliability and eliminates reconciliation delays.
Our Mission
Our mission is to connect every monetary store of value using blockchain.
Our Vision
One global network to pay anyone, through any means, in any currency.
Our Purpose
To maximize financial inclusion and accelerate economic prosperity.
Our Values
Entrepreneurial Spirit: We continuously unlock value by solving hard problems and acing execution.
Proficiency: We are masters of what we do, and we deliver flawlessly every time.
Innovation: We love to think unconventionally, experiment with fringe ideas, and invent whole new paradigms.
Courage: We set tough, audacious goals that seem impossible and execute them to completion.
Humility: We forego self-importance so that learning and teamwork can flourish.
