This page explains how users of the ZonePay mobile app, provided by Zone Payment Network Limited, can request deletion of their account and associated data.

Request account deletion

• Email info@zonenetwork.com using the email address or phone number registered to your ZonePay account.
• Use the subject ZonePay account deletion request.
• Include only the registered phone number or email address needed to locate your account. Do not send your password, PIN, OTP, card details or full identity document by email.
• ZonePay will contact you through an approved channel if additional identity verification is required.

What happens after verification

ZonePay will disable the account and delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data that is no longer required within 30 days of verifying the request.

Data deleted or anonymised

• Account profile and contact data that is not legally required
• Preferences and marketing-consent data
• Non-essential application data associated with the account

Data that may be retained

Limited records may be retained where required for anti-money-laundering compliance, transaction reconstruction, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal claims or regulatory enquiries.

• Transaction and payment records: at least five years after the transaction
• KYC, identity-verification, account-opening records and relevant correspondence: at least five years after the customer relationship ends
• Records subject to a complaint, dispute, investigation, court order, regulatory request or legal hold: until the matter or hold is formally closed, followed by the applicable retention period

Retained information is access-restricted, used only for the applicable legal or operational purpose, and deleted or anonymised when that purpose and any applicable retention obligation expire.
